I am not exactly sure the functionality of this PCI Express 1X To 16X PCIE Riser Card. My understanding is it allows to make use of any PCIe video card for a number crunching when connected to a USB3 port. If so, I wonder why USB3 and not USB2 port? Does it really need that much bandwidth that requires a USB3 port? Otherwise, I can think of using this card on a Pogoplug Pro (for computational purposes) through its USB2 port, instead of wasting its mPCIe slot for the PCIe riser. Anyone?
