Mounting samba (cifs) shares (no replies)

I tried mounting a cifs share on Debian but get

mount error(19): No such device.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

I do have cifs-utils installed and can manage mount the cifs shares from Arch Linux (x86 version) using the same command line.
