tar on goflex net cannot read data.tar.xz (1 reply)

Hallo,

I am new here. Today I started to install debian on Seagate GoFlex Net. I got following Problem:

tar: can't open 'data.tar.gz': No such file or directory?

The I saw the tarball is now

data.tar.xz

but tar on goflex net cannot open .XZ compressed files.
So you have to unpack this on a PC.

Thank you for this site an all your work done to instal Debian.
