Especially if it's setup like Transmission where it can be turned off or bandwidth limited when you need to get other work done.
Dropbox on my little Thin Client running Windows is a real drag; it hogs your bandwidth so bad even a browser/email client thinks there's no connection for itself, and uploading takes an unusually long time anyway. In addition, this turns on Windows background Services so unless those are turned off and Disabled afterwards, the computer has a tendency to be slow when the upload is long over.
That thought articulated, I'd be impressed if there's yet another use for the Pogoplug, upload larger files at night and leave Windows services untouched on the other machines.
