The Medion MD 86946 is a typical Kirkwood system. It does have uBoot 1.1.4 from 2013 on board and support usb and ide commands. Although the processor fits to NSA310S it does not boot from a kernel with this dtb. I am using kirkwood-md86783.dtb and this works but the system looks like a christmas tree with all leds on. I made it bootable from hdd with a hybrid MBR/GPT partition setup. Apparently this version of uBoot does not support reading from a GPT partition.
For now it is working but if I want to update uBoot which version should I use? And what is needed to make it less a christmas tree? For instance does anybody has this version and a better dtb?
