Samba works happy but Webmin is making me suffer. I've never used Webmin, but on the surface it looks like it could help unlock the wholesome goodness of said Pogoplug :D
Here's the code:
First, using WinSCP I can't see a rc.conf in Ect or anywhere else.
Second, if my Pogoplug IP is 192.168.178.100, this would mean to change the Allow line to what? I think they say 192,168,0 but that doesn't make sense. Still using 127.0.0.1 over LAN didn't work either.
Pretty sure i can lower my RAM usage once in Webmin, but it's a catch 22 getting there. Thanks lot for previous helps. I promise to help fellow newbs if you help me.
Here's the code:
==> To make webmin start at boot time, add webmin to rc.conf daemons ==> Point your web browser to http://localhost:10000 to use webmin. ==> The access is restricted to localhost, if you want to connect from other locations ==> change /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf to something like that: allow=127.0.0.1 <your-ip> ==> If you want to have ssl encryption please install 'perl-net-ssleay' additional. (2/2) reinstalling perl-net-ssleay [#############################] 100% [root@alarm ~]# http://localhost:10000
