I'd ran Cat5-E cable to the next room, and PogoPlug/Debian, all's well. So I have a 500GB USB2 hard drive, and plug it into Pogoplug. I wasn't expecting a Samba folder to appear, but either it isn't recognized or maybe needs security clearance.
So being newb-y I searched for code to list what's hooked-up and lusb is one method, but mine says -bash: lusb: command not found.
Webmin works but I don't know what to call the new device. Pretty sure it's formatted Fat32.
I think we might have visited Samba solutions before but remember I hosed something and never got back to that tangent.
