I would like to set up my own email server using my domain, say "mydomain.com" hosted on zoneedit on Dockstar. I followed the instructions for Citadel on Raspberry Pi given in this link. Everything went smoothly. Now, come to configuration, because I have no experience of email server, I am a little confused.
First, what should I enter in the "Local host aliases section" section? Should I simply enter "mydomain.com"?
Secondly, for setting MX record, what should I use as the Host? Also "mydomain.com"?
Do I need specify any port number and forward that port on my router?
Hopefully someone had done the same thing and can help.
