I'm using Tvheadend since more than one yeer
first the trunk releases .. and now the 4.0.7 version.
When using the built version, all is fine, the built debian package has some issues ...
but it's mostly working.
Perhaps someone can fix this?
For testing it can be downloaded here
it can be installed with the following commands:
you will be asked to create an tvheadend admin account
ISSUES:
client access is only working when adding an user in the webinterface --> access entries
to use avahi, the hts user has to be added to the avahi group, same I tried with time synchronisation but
there is another issue, because NTP is running
I couln't see any programs (tvhclient on android and webinterface) and channels couldn't be played (VLC, thclient)
I could solve this by using the config files created with the built only tvheadend so copied to the hts user directory and changed ownership and group
Perhaps this can be fixed in a different way?
