I've recently come into possession of a Linksys EA4500 router. It's currently running OpenWRT (since it makes the most sense for a router) but I'm very curious about the possibility of running Debian on it.

- How viable would it be to update the u-boot as we do with the other platforms? e.g. Dockstar (I have 2 of these) The Debian image currently provided relies on flashing uImage to flash and having the rootfs on USB. It would be nice for the device to boot into OpenWRT if there's no USB, or Debian if USB is present (with uImage residing in /boot)
- Assuming there's mainline support for the hardware, I imagine one could just use bohdi's rootfs as long as there's a suitable .dtb for the board?
Would this be worth the effort? I feel like most of the hard work has already been done...
