Ideal hard drive for Pogoplug Alarm? (no replies)

For the time being, I have one stable OS (alarm) archived on a slow USB stick, and operate my experiments on old, throwaway IDE drives (all 40GB).

Seems like a good question to ask, has anyone found a most beneficial hard drive?
