I am having a similar issue like mentioned here, although mine is that I cannot _change_ my SSH password ...
I have a PogoplugPro, that I got used a couple of years ago. I was playing around with it then and I seem to remember that I activated SSH access and set an SSH password - no idea what it was anymore though. Then the device went into a drawer for a long time. I just recently bumped into your site here and thought that I want to install Debian and then maybe owncloud on it.
So now the first issue I am having, is that I can connect to the device via SSH, but I cannot remember the password that I set anymore (and it's not ceadmin or stxadmin ...). When I go to the Pogoplug web site, I see my device as being 'offline'. I know that deactivating/activating the 'enable SSH...' setting would allow me to change the SSH password, but I do not see this setting under 'Setting/Security' (probably as the device is offline ...(?)). I also tried unregistering the device and opening a new account with Pogoplug and registering the device with the new account - it seems to 'find' the device, as it shows it as PogoplugPro, but it doesn't seem to be able to access it, as it shows it offline.
I really don't need to get the access working via the Pogoplug website, as I am not going to use the Pogoplug services anyways, I am just looking for a way to change my SSH password on the device.
Thanks in advance!
